Guangzhou Metro Authority

As component of an invited international style competition, Perkins Eastman produced a sweeping, grand vision for the future 50,000 sq m headquarters of the Guangzhou Metro Authority. The building will be created in partnership with The Metro Style Institute in China, with construction expected to start in mid 2010.The taller tower houses the administrative functions. Green roofs insulate the building and are component of a larger style technique to address storm water management as well as to produce an outdoor amenity for employees.
